got cobras on my first 97 and ya guess they say less performance, but i like the sound, great note and when your crusin' you definitely hear it

well been working slowly at the bike, and found lots of little annoying things. Need a bunch of screws/bolts like the screws and bolts holding seat down, half stripped out. the stainless allen bolts holding the scoops on are starting to corrode, two wrecked screws holding the chrome covers under the carbs, one i had to use V/S to loosen it. rest seems P/O just didn't use right screwdrivers. enough left to still me used but looks like hell thats all. so i guess not too bad, going to clean up mess around carbs now, hopefully no junk falls into the carbs from the top, think plastic wrap will work. still pretty happy with it, just a jewel in the ruff
