The only music I like to listen to is the sound of the Kerker 4-2-1 with Scorpion carbon can when accelerating - nothing beats it imo

Mike

i rode with a friend of mine a while back with a gps, we spent more time fucking with the gps then we did riding. never again, i just want to go.

I don't have a MP3 player, but if I ever find a Goldwing CB I can steal real cheap, it's MINE!

MP3 player:ummm: Thats old school I have a mini dvd player on my handlebars and watch porn as I am hammering down:rofl_200:

I listen to music while I ride.
I was using an mp3 player, but the earphones kept falling out of my ears after putting on my helmet.
So I bought the Cardo Q2 Scala Rider. It doesn't play mp3 but it does have am/fm stereo.
I know the naysayers are going to bust my balls and tell me how dangerous it is and how stupid I am because it's a distraction.
But I'm the opposite, If I don't have music playing I get bored and my mind wonders and goes into deep thoughts about everything except riding. And for ME, that's more of a distraction from riding.
Plus when I'm listening to music I am relaxed and patient and tend not to ride after and have altercations with stupid cagers.

So spare me the lectures.

A friend of mine put these guy's setup on his bike, he loves it. its a little heavy on the price, but he also removes it and puts it on his quad for off-roading as well.

I actually considered those. LOL!
When I first got my Max I looked all over at weatherproof speakers and was seriously looking at mounting some.
The problem was I could not find anything that I was happy with as far as looking decent on the MAX.
Guess I'll just have to wait till the technology improves and I can get some good kickers the size of headset speakers.

Don't listen to music now, but plan on a pair of small speakers
that fit in my helmet that I found in Whitehorse gear. Sorry I
love music and I don't jam it to ear bleed levels. Heck half the
guys I hear cruising have pipes that would overpower my
bike and speakers.
Rock on

I listen to my MP3 at times. I have loud pipes so I can still here my engine...Nothing like Nickel back cranked up in the twisties..maybe a little ozzy at times. I see nothing wrong with it.

I listen to music on sometimes when I ride alone. I can still hear the bike and traffic sounds around me. I ride in very rural areas where I can go for miles and not pass another vehicle on the road going either way.
There's nothing like a good set of corners to go with the right music. I also wear earplugs and I sometimes get the same feeling when the weather's perfect, no traffic, and a bunch of high speed corners so you feel in the "zone" with your Vmax. Nothing like blasting to over 130 mph or going thru a sweeper at 90 mph on a Vmax!

I live in the lower penninsula and it's the same way around here. I only ever listen to my zune when I am riding alone and I can hear everything around me going on because I use over the ear headphones that wrap behind the neck Like These. They slip inside the helmet nicely and they aren't too loud either.

I wear noise canceling earbuds with my mp3 player when I'm going long distance, it's nice to get off the bike and not have the ears ringing for 2 hours after!

i have in-helmet headphones i used to use for my yzf600, but have yet to do music on my v-max..

I can't seem to keep my ipod buds in my ears when I put the helmet
on, any suggestions out there ?
Thanks
