Plugged Pilot Jets

Hey group my bike sat for about a year while I recovered from an accident. Got it all put back together this spring and as expected it was running poorly. Here is my conundrum. Although it was running badly it was idling just fine. All 4 pilot jets were plugged. My question is where was the bike getting the gas to idle?

Did you keep the enrichener lever open?

That’s what led to the question. No on the enrichment valve being open. Where was it pulling the gas from?

Maybe the idle speed screw is set high enough to open the needles?

I would think it would have to be idling above 2k RPM for this to be true.

To be clear my question is an honest one. I don’t have any idea what the answer is. The idle screw was not turned up and it was idling at just over 1000rpm.

If you turn the mixture screws in on a good running bike, idle will dip but still run. Float height, purge jets, throttle plate position, bypass holes, and main jet all have a part at idle speeds.
