Here's the final result on the 12" 'homegrown' can. It was easy enough to do, baffle was the one I made for the Holeshot can...just had to shorten it a couple inches, wrapped in 4 stroke glass packing and slid into a 4" X 12" aluminum tube, end cap from the old Holeshot can.
The aluminum was 'drawn' and definitely not the smoothest so there was some effort required to get to a decent finish. I used some larger s/s button head allen bolts that Sheldon gave me a few years ago....seemed appropriate....and gives it a bit more of an 'industrial' look.
It's a bit raspy, but pretty cool IMO. Total cost....$50.
