we just had a huge rain here in texas and ever since then i bike runs fine for about ten minutes and then dies quick and hard, and will not start. the fuel pump also starts clicking before the problems start. then when i try to start it the pump clicks slowly. i dont know if its a fuel pump issue a line issue a carb issue or anything and i really dont want to pay for a shop to fix something i can do myself.

have you checked the fuel filter could be cloged, wondering if a deadish batt since you said fuel pump slowly clicking away, its pretty slow to begin with in my experience, if its running all the time must be running out of fuel maybe :ummm: or float issue that it keeps running. does it stop sparking also when it dies, pull a wire off hook up a second plug and crank her and see if you got ignition issues or fuel issue.

it works fine after it sits for like a day, and it will starteventually but run like a$$ untill it dies again. it seems to run great till the engine warms up, then it dies.

i should also add that when it starts to act up there is alot of excess noise as well as what sounds like possible blow back. and one side feels hotter than the other as if it was running lean.

might have to clean out carbs, try putting in sea foam. maybe hook up a fuel line to a jerry can of gas and see how it runs from there.

need to run it to sync the carbs, do you have any history on the bike having this issue or anyone been working on the carbs that you know of??
you check the plugs lately? condition and gap, wont hurt to through in a fresh set if you haven't already.

its just weird it runs great and strong then it starts to lose power and then it dies and its a pain in the ass to start it again.

Check your fuel tank vent and tip over valve. Next time it dies take off the fuel cap and listen for a whoosh of air.

Not hearing anything is good, if you hear a whoosh of air it means your tank is vapor locked and isn't venting correctly. I would try draining the tank and fuel lines and replace the fuel filter just to make sure it's not sucking something up out of the tank (then draining back down after the bike sits a while). Also add a little Seafoam to the new tank of gas. Never had this problem on the Max before but have found it useful on a couple of older cars that I've owned.
