Installed my Progressive 440's yesterday.
Review: They are *a lot* firmer than my old stock suspension.
Even on their softest setting, they are firm!
I am not a suspension expert in anyway, shape or form. So keep in mind this review is all based on the seat-of-the-pants-dyno-style-meter. Very non-scientific.
The feel was firm and planted. They seem to hold onto the road a lot better. When in a corner, the rear end feels a lot more planted as well. It feels more secure. I didn't notice the "problem" with the stock suspension, but now with the 440's installed, all I can say is it feels more secure.
When I hit a significant bump in the road, I do feel it though, as they are firm. I have no idea if I can adjust these shocks further than the dial on the shock.
They look great and install was the easiest vmax job I have done yet.
