Some thoughts on the level volume/loudness concern. Case length does effect amount of quieting things down. But mostly it's the threw hole diameter that dictates the level.
Bigger the hole the louder it becomes. Start making the hole smaller and the quieter it
becomes. Given 99% of mufflers made are a tube with round holes in them, there is a bit of factor there too on how big of holes and spacing of them and/or amount of them can let less or more of the exhaust filter into the packing material can effect the volume as well. But nothing like the tube diameter.

I agree.
But the longer absorbtion can is the only way to not hurt the performance and get it quiter.
Decreaseing the outlet area will hurt performance thus flow.

But again, I cant imagine the 1 meter long canaster on the bike :rofl_200:

I sometimes wish that I had a little quieter exhausts, my buddy says he can hear me coming 3 - 4 miles away and I live in the middle of the woods!
It's hard to sneak off for a nice solo ride, but mostly I love the built big block roar that emanates from my Mark's exhaust. :thumbs up: :thumbs up:
