Racing stripes - did you PAINT or DECAL?

So you're going to be able to feel the stripes unless you put a TON of coats of clear over everything. Just make sure you don't let it out in the sun or heat for 2-3 weeks if you have 7 or so coats of clear on it.

I am going to do my research on this one...
How much paint did you use for your job btw?

I also am unsure about white or silver stripes... I think the silver - as long as it was matte too.

I didn't paint it. I paid to have it done. He put on 7 coats of clear.

I pick it up tomorrow night for the final time.

He let me use them a couple of weeks ago but they needed buffed out so I brought them back and he's had them since just sitting in the front office curing.

Same as I had... Black and red. I low sided mine this spring so I had to redo what I had already done. It came out a lot better this time. More coats of clear were applied so I couldn't feel the stripes.
