Wow , guess I've been put in my place...:hammer bash: That's the best thing about the internet...anyone can say anything . And you can respond in many different ways . I choose in this instance to not respond...it might look like an excuse . Where , when and whom I ride with is up to me and will remain that way . So take my apology and please give me your forgivness...I will try harder to live up to expectations in the future...:worthy:

FWIW...I expected this in the Harley forum when I mentioned I also rode a V Max...:icon_axe:...funny thing...the Harley guys are very respectful of Mr Max . Many have owned them in the past and love to ******** about them . Nobody there wanted a comparison of riding times and riding companions come to think of it...:confused2:

Hey there Mr Live Free Or Die...no attitude here , at least no Harley attitude . This post was just a thought put down in writing and shared with people who share a like mind . That being riding motorcycles in general and Max's in particular . Seems to me , by the size of your response that YOU are the one with the Harley thought process...something to do with size...or trying to make up for lack thereof...:ummm:

:biglaugh:
well it definable isn't a size issue here. Just being a funny guy knowing your old making sure you can see the text haha.

Ok maybe it's just me, but I verified my desire for a vmax by the support this forum gets from its members. I ghosted a year before actually joining his site. I'm looking at getting a second bike to use as a commuter, and their forums suck ***. I'm looking at a FZ8, but those dudes think modding is a fender eliminator kit and an ECU. They belittled a guy for thinking about extending the swing arm and lowering it. It's not gonna change my mind about the bike, but sucks the site won't be near as useful/entertaining as this one. So I'm glad this site is "active" by the people who like bone stock, heavy mods, Z1000s, HDs, ATGATT etc...keeps **** fresh.

Hey guys you are touchy huh? Im gonna log off for 3.5 minutes now. I need to go take a dump and eat... Not necessarily in this order... LOL

I'm constantly checking in here. At least 10 times a day. Even though my bike has been down over 4 months now and I still religiously come on to see what everyone's up to or doing to their bikes. I like choppers also and do want one someday but not to replace my Vmax with but to add to the stable. I wish the Vmax guys in Pgh would call me to ride but after the one and only Pittsburgh run nobody seems to even plan that ride anymore. I really do like a bunch of Vmax's riding together just to even see the faces of people on the street especially those who know what they are and like was said, most Harley riders respect the **** out of the mighty Vmax. I'll bet alot more than any sportbike groups. And even though I couldn't ride to thunder this year me and the wife drove up to meet some of the guys here and I'm glad we did. We met Rick ( Twistedmax) Tom( the Beekeeper)and Jeff(Kosrider). So it was cool to see all the bikes at the comfort inn and meet SOME real cool people and met a couple smack offs too especially when I ask what one guy did for a living cause he had a couple high end bikes he said " I'm good looking and good looking people get stuff given to them" it took all my wife and I had not to laugh in his conceited face. But hey there's always at least one or two in every crowd. But I'm glad we got to meet the cool Vmax riders and hope to have made a few friendships. Ed✨

Ed, if all it took to have a few high end bikes was good looks, your wife would have at least a dozen! But I'm sure shed let you ride them :rofl_200: it was good to put a face with your bike, it will be better next year to RIDE

+ 1 on your comments Ed. Was great to meet you and your wife at Thunder. LMAO on your "smack offs" story !! :clapping:
Been following what's been happening with your bike... hope it get's better real soon !

Lol, thanks Rick, your probably right about that. She was a model and still gets calls to do some. But yea, I felt like I hit the lotto when I met her. And for sure we'll be there next year for sure and can't wait to ride among the true elite bikers especially guys like you that have a super cool Gen II but don't have a conceited attitude. But yea Me and Autum will be there.

Wow, I shouldn't have gone to work or for a Ride today.
I missed all the fun. :rofl_200:

Thanks Jeff, I really hope your planning on going to thunder next year as well! You guys are what makes this such a cool forum and gotta say my wife was a little nervous before we got there but you, Rick and Tom made us feel like we fit right in and am really glad we met yins before we came across the aforementioned. So, thanks again for making it worth the trip up there and helping my wife understand what makes the bond between cool Vmax guys. Ed✨

Is there any online time counter here on this forum? That would be fun to watch. Can we get one Gary? Something to add to the user profile so one can check how much time one spends here daily and ever. Like an odometer and a trip thing... That would be fun...

I actually found an add on that does this! :surprise: If this is what you guys want to know, I can install it.

I just happened to post a couple of lines here and there on this forum and couldn't help but notice how many of you guys are online...:ummm:...doesn't anybody here have a job...? How about a life...? :confused2: My excuse is working nights so I be headed for a nap . I mean , gahdahm , get off this interweb ( the **** sites at least ) and get out there and accomplish somethin...:bang head:

Thats cool! Can you put it on each ones profile page so each one can check his "times" here? But does it count just being online or being online and active? Thats the main issue. Not to be counting dormant/idling online users. Can it even share statistics like the higher poster of the month and year and overall. I'd say it would be a good add-on a single statistics for each profile and an overall statistics page/link showing the higher poster overall, higher poster of the month and year and the higher online "times" for month, year and overall as well. I know im asking too much but i got carried away... LOL. Do you want me to start a poll or do you prefer to do it yourself being the admin-major...

How about an hour meter on our bikes? :punk:

Got a better idea Steve-o....time spent on our bikes is certainly important but distance travelled seems more important to me. How about some device that will tell us how far we've gone.....and HEY, how about how fast we're going too................oh, wait a minute..........:biglaugh:

That's interesting, because a lot of them, but no,not all, call our bikes "A JAP PIECE OF ****" I saw a guy I used to know last weekend, haven't seen him in years. All he could say was "I only ride Harley's" The 1/2 wit doesn't even own a bike right now. In that area (RI), it's a costume and a Harley and you are down with the locals. Glad to not be a local.:puke:

If we are all riding our bikes like there meant to be we will miss being on here 24/7 how will we ever deal with that? Ride? Sit on here all day? Wax our bikes and make them look pretty to sit in our garage? Hmmmm this is a tuffy.

WOrld of Warcraft has the time spent playing each character and I really don't want to admit how much time I spent playing that game! Hopefully the timer will be only from when it's installed and on... ;-)

I get that from time to time myself since I ride a sportbike. I just let it go in one ear and out the other.
