If you go any bigger it will rub against the swingarm. You can get a Shinko T230 or a Metzeler ME880 in that size.

Yes, maybe the washer swap but half the time you dont have to

I put the 170 Shinko on my '85, and it fit perfectly. No washer swap needed.

I just put the metzler 880 170 on. Almost 1/4" of room. No washer.
