You also might consider finding a trashed out or wrecked vmax w all the goodies you need for cheap. I have a bunch of gen1 parts that I really need to get off my butt and catalog for sale,including a new and a used diaphram for 35mm carbs

Could someone clarify the correct needles (and springs) for a full power setup please? I have 23 odd coils on the springs, the needles look a bit thick, but is there a number on them to check?
My haines book says European should be 5ez19, as opposed to 5ez43, or even 50 for some models. It doesn't say if european is restriced or not though...
