Got some seafoam to attempt and fix the backfiring issue.

After searching and much reading the posts, I am reading different methods on how much to use, where to pour it, etc.

What is the recommended use?
1/3 of a can in the tank?
Entire can in the tank?
Some in the carbs?

Wanting to soak them overnight...where do I pour/how much to complete this?

Sorry if this is a bother

For my bikes it has always varied, between tank applications and just carb applications. Depending on how dirty things were. You might need to shotgun your carbs as well.

Here is some info from thier site.

I used the entire can.

Combination of that, checking the slides, and numerous other tips I read about here has eliminated my problem.

Now if I could just fix the exhaust......

Thanks to all, and to seafoam.
