Yeah Brian. It would be someplace on the main highway NEAR Mt. Rainier - where she could pull over briefly and then keep on keeping on. They have got to do a lot of miles to (quickly) pass by all the things she wanted to pass by.

Aside from not wanting to do the pace of an HD, passing by all those neat places too quickly is the main reason I am not doing the ride with her. I have zero interest in paying the IB assoc good money to verify, on paper, that I can do long distances, AND I do not consider being in a big rush to get someplace and then right back home to be an ideal vacation. Wouldn't mind the hurry up and get there routine.....but once I'm there........I likes to take my time and enjoy the area. Explore it a bit, rather than rush right through.

I agree with you. I have done the 1,000 miles in 16 hours but it was for a reason. I don't need a patch or paper to say I have done it. I want to enjoy myself now & if I decide I want to stop for a few hours because I see something neat or decide its a neat town & I want to stay the night I am going to. I also like long rides by myself just for the pure reason of **** like happened to shala
