yup thats the stuff kyle, can add it to other oils that dont have zinc and help keep the old motors going. A few years back when they chg the oil contents people were scraping cams in cars and thought it was metal quality when it was lack of oil protection. so lots of guys started to run rotella triple T that had zonc content still and now they have this ZDDp stuff.

ZDDP will ruin catalytic converters! DO NOT use any oil containing the levels of zinc that Rotella has in a car or engine using cats. This is one of the reasons you see low zinc levels in car oil.

The 5W40 isn't a "true" synthetic... It's a group IV super pure dino with synthetic stabilizers.

I have had ZERO issues with slippage.

+1, I ran it last summer but changed to the 15w40 b/c I was getting slippage. It wasn't the oils fault, it was that my clutch was slipping. Sean is checking clutch and doing the DD mod to resolve that issue.:worthy:
I will go back to the 5w40 possibly when I use up the 2 jugs of the 15w40. It went from clunky shifting with whatever the PO had in it (I suspect Yamalube) to much smoother shifting with the Rotella 5w40.
