Side Stand Relay Bad but here is the weird thing...

So I tested my side stand relay. Found it to be bad.
Here is the weird thing.
Bike will run, when put in gear, side stand down, WITH THE RELAY REMOVED. No need to jumper the wire to the ignitor.:ummm::ummm::ummm:

Any ideas on why.
I dont have my clutch switch wired cuz I have the FJR masters and never got around to it.
No worries with it this way, just have to order a new relay so I dont pull an Oh shit and leave the side stand down.

I've done that and DAMN does it suck. Thought I was going into the ditch. ALL my bikes now have that wired up. It's not something I'll be without now.
