We are getting slammed here in western Pa.About a foot of snow and then freezing rain all night.I love it!

Our electric went out last evening and didn't come on 'till 9:30 this morning. Glad I bought that portable generator and had it all wired up. I've got trees down that made it through other ice storms. What a mess but really neat in it's own way with all the ice glitter. This is definitely a stay at home day.

I love California. I'm what they call "California Dreamin". I'll definitely will be heading West some day in the near future.

I love California too! It's beautiful and reminds me of West Texas and the Hill country.

What I don't love is an overburdened system of high taxes and socialist policies that is getting worse by the day and making it nearly unliveable for all but a few.

Check it out. I have a 400ft driveway and all the trees from one side are leaning into it and preventing me from leaving. They are frozen in place and who knows when it will get warm enough to thaw that ice.

Wow, Mike, you are getting hit pretty hard, and there I was bitching about 5 inches of snow! Hope you have a plow or snowblower for that 400 feet of driveway!
Let's see some more snow pictures. Where are the ones from NY where you have a foot or more? :snow:

Holy Crap!

I'd move...

It's sunny, clear and dry and 36 headed for a high in the low to mid 60's the next three days here..

I love the sunny, dry and clear part

Hey Rusty, what kind of humidity are we talking about in summer? And can I keep my SISTER-IN-LAW out of the state legally? The last one is more important than the first question but I sure dislike a lot of hot humid weather.

Sorry to post here but I need some HELP with posting. Tried to contact Buster but was only able to write in the subject line. I can only post when clicking on the "quick reply" tab. All other options give me the message box but when I click in it, all I get is the hand with pointing finger like when clicking on a link. No, it's the pointing finger and not the middle one. Also smileys won't work. Thanks for any help in pointing to where I screwed up. :))

Also I have DSL and this forum is as slow as molasses lately and all other surfing is good. Hmmmmm..........wonder if it has anything to do with being a "Boostaholic"? Last Boostaholic ran into trouble here also.

70-90% nearly all summer long. It is without a doubt a hot humid sumbitch down here about 3 months out of the year but the winters are short and spring and fall is incredible. If your not prepared or used to it tho' July and August can kill you.

I'm used to it although I actually grew up in far West Texas around the Ft Davis area where it was just as hot if not hotter but one hell of a lot drier and less humid. Now when I gp back to that area I get nose bleeds from the dry air so I guess I'm officially adapted to the humidity here on the Gulf Coast........

In all my Travels I will say that South Central New Mexico probably had the best weather of anywhere....

3 pictures from my back door can be seen on my myspace.
click the link below and go to pics.
Enough for one day off from work....lol
We've had ALOT more before.... (winter 94 & 95..... 27" and 29" respectively)
