SOLD 1985 Yamaha V-Max and extras for sale, $2000.00

Original owner, 35618 miles, optional wind screen, not currently installed. Carbs are in need of new slides, I have four brand new OEM carb slides not installed. Carbs are a Kerker Stage 7 individual filter set up. Original air box. Slip on Kerker pipes. The foot stand pedal for the center stand is broken. Case guards are on, but rusted and scratched. The original shunt regulator has been replaced with a newer model. Original style seat and cover in good condition. Comes with a bike cover. Other extras are a wheelie bar, strut assembly. A second rear rim with a 15’ Firestone slick. The brake rotor on the second rear wheel is bent and needs replaced. There is an air shifter and kill switch. Several sets of main jets. Yes this bike has been raced. No major wrecks or crashes. Last dyno tune test was 2012, still had 115.84 RW HP.

My Best ET was 11.04, best MPH was 121.95, back in 1986 & 1987, I was a 195 lb rider too! I was a little disappointed I couldn't get into the 10's, but it was consistent and pretty reliable.

Not bad. What was the temperature? Elevation? Time of day for that particular run?
I would have to try and find my run notes, from back then, these were just hand written time cards handed out, but 1302' is the elevation of Wichita Ks, where I made the run, and Saturday nights were the usual race times.
