Sorry to say but these are not designed for the weight of the Vmax. They work well for the FZX bikes or other lighter bikes.
 
Yeah, the springs look a little anemic for the Vmax.

So price drop to get them out of my garage. $25 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 by UPS ground. Hopefully someone can use them on a bike other than a Vmax,
