Temp Gauge is in the upper left and appears to say "Lo"... That means it's below 114 degrees if that is in fact the case.... The guy's a total Dumb *** in any world.......
I noticed that too....on the demo FZ8 I rode I just took it as meaning "too cold to drive" since it suddenly changed to numbers sometime before like 120(I guess 114 as you said, wasn't watching it that closely".
So bouncing a cold engine off the rev limiter....really....some people just don't get it. I tend to think MC riders are more knowledgeable and mechanically inclined than the typical cager, but with bikes these days being as low maintenance and dependable as any car, I guess it's not really a requirement anymore to actually know how they work and why that is such a lousy idea.
