What are some special tools.

flywheel puller? anyone know what we need?
what's some others that a guy should pick up if needed to do transmission fix in particular..?

I want to start picking up some specialty tools and prepare.

Assuming that you won't be disturbing the top end you will need:

A Clutch centre holder/ locking tool (a piece of tube welded to an old metal clutch plate will do)
Flywheel puller - See this; this adaption works and worth taking the time to do.
Torx bits

You will also need gaskets for water pump, clutch, generator and middle gear plus cooland and oil drain plug washers.
You may also need exhaust header seals (and elsewhere in the system depending on what you have fitted), manifold O rings (don't let them dry out).

The flywheel does not need to be removed to replace or repair the trans. Slap ring pliers, torx and allen sockets make the job easier but not required, You can also get the clutch apart without the tool by using an impact driver. A torque wrench to go back together with. Rubber hammer for tapping things around.
