Stock Exhaust Mounting

I recently put stock exhaust on my 01, after one of my Kerker slip-ons decided it was no longer interested in being on the bike. I had the two bolts that mount the mufflers to the side of the bike, but I have none of the hardware that mounts the system underneath. I am curious if not having that 3rd mount will create any issues down the road, or if I am okay just leaving it be?

If you're speaking about the center bracket, that megaphone system is heavy, it definitely would help. The footpeg area bolts hold most of the weight, but the bracket helps. It would stop things flexing and loosening over time.

That is the piece I was referring to. And given that, and what I've read elsewhere I'll definitely put one in place.
