Stock mufflers,need help identifying

Picked up a set of stock mufflers in perfect condition,but don,t know what year they came off of.The number on the information stamping says 1UT-1198.On the left muffler it says 1Ut-14711.On the right side is 1UT-14721.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They're all the same....'85 - '07, part #'s don't change.

i thought the 85's were non-epa certified so they changed in '86?

Correct. 85 is different baffle size. The later years (can't remember for sure which year started) had black end caps vs the silver end caps. A few years were all black on the mufflers.

So the bottom line is it doesn't matter, any year muffler will fit any year bike. '85 mufflers will be a little louder, other than that changes are purely cosmetic.
