I agree with Brett Kavanaugh.

"I like beer!"

Good news for New Yorkers: the state has > 400 breweries.

https://www.newyorkupstate.com/drin...ys_it_now_has_record_number_of_breweries.html

From the article:
New York is credited as the home of Colonial America's first commercial brewery, which opened in Manhattan in 1632. After reaching the peak of 393 in 1876, the number of New York breweries fell to 194 just before Prohibtion. Fewer brewers operated in the decades after Prohibition, declining through to the 1970s. The rise of micro or craft brewing boosted the numbers since the 1980s.

The Hudson Valley and Finger Lakes regions of New York host the highest number of breweries today, but they are spread across the state.
Here's the breakdown by region, according to the State Liquor Authority:
Hudson Valley: 63
Finger Lakes: 59
Capital Region: 46
Long Island: 44
New York City: 42
Central New York: 35
Southern Tier: 35
Western New York: 34
North Country: 22
Mohawk Valley: 20

Be sure to see the list of all the NYS breweries, it's a long list!

400 breweries!! :surprise: Can no one in this area organize a ride!! :biglaugh:

Sort of reminds me of the Barstool Sports dude that tries a pizza place every day until he tries them all in Manhatten. Between NY, Maine, and Vermont, I wonder how many days one could do the same thing with the breweries?

I'm willing to try. :D
