Tail Bag with Gen 2 OEM backrest kit

Hi - For those who have the Gen 2 oem backrest kit (sissy bar), I wanted to know if there was enough room under the rails provided to hook a tail bag (ex. Coretech) or cargo net, without scratching the fender. Any info would be appreciated.
