Sorry to bother you guys again. Been here for a while, and may have finally found me a Vmax to purchase. The guy is looking for more of a touring bike, and doesn't like the low tank milage on his Max.
I know about checking out the Oil pump recall, but is there anything else that I should be very careful about when looking to purchase? For instance, I know the M109 has issues with the 2nd gear. Most are fine, but that is the one thing to check on when testing one. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
I have owned 4 M109's and had great success, but I have always wanted a 2nd. gen Vmax. Now the stars might be aligning and I want to know if it is a smart move.
