Slim Pickins did a narative thing for Silver Dollar City when I was young. The ride was called "the Diving Bell". People were herded into a small, round theater where he played the part of a Captain of the diving bell that took guests down into the pond at SDC etc. While at the bottom, they sprayed water on you to make the emergency seem more real. The whole theater was mounted on moving parts to rock to and fro. Even had a diving bell replica going into and out of the pond visible to the folks outside waiting in the line to ride. Great actor. Appeared in lots of old westerns, including ones with the Duke.
