I Understand.....Trump wasnt my first choice, but it comes down to someone that MIGHT sell us out, VS someone that WOULD (Hillary).

+1, I know I mentioned realistic expectations. I think we all know he wont be delivering on the majority of his campaign promises. If he can appoint a decent Supreme court justice and squash Obamacare, well then thats just icing. He stopped Hillary and that was the main thing we needed from him. He was an upgrade from Obama, now in four years or less we should be able to do another upgrade. Lets not forget that Hillary was just an extension of Obama, but with never ending scandal, that just HAD to be stopped.

To be perfectly honest, I would just as soon Ivanka take over running the country while he goes and plays golf. I have heard some pretty exceptional things about her, as opposed to him.

Well....hopefully stopped. Chelsea's gonna take a run at the Senate soon.........so :confused2:

Agreed that it is HIGHLY unlikely that something like that would ever happen.

I think its a bit humorous that people are signing this petition. I wonder if those that signed are actual voters who feel they were wronged or, if most that signed are a bunch of teenagers that did so because they like Lady Gaga?

I think the signers are the same folks that just a few days ago were looking down their long beaks at the Trump people saying "Suck it up Buttercup....your guy lost, get used to it!"

Now they're saying....."but, but....that wasn't s'posed to apply to US! It wasn't s'posed to turn out this way, she said we were gonna win!" :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

I don't understand the blind trust people have in the Trumps. I just don't get it. I get that no one wanted Clinton and she didn't win. So she was stopped. But how does that suddenly mean Trump doesn't get held accountable? That's the logic I don't understand.

-- I've still yet to find any article or opinion/editorial that's tried to explain or validate why Ivanka was in that meeting with the Prime Minister of Japan. Change the situation and put Clinton in there and the GOP would be starting the impeachment paperwork as I type this -- but no one from the right gives a crap.

-- The Trump Foundation just filed a tax form a couple of days ago admitting they did self-dealings. That is they took donations that were supposed to charity and it went into the pocket of Donald Trump. On that tax form they also checked that self-dealing was done in previous years as well. That form doesn't require any explanation as to what the self-dealing was(that's another form folks are waiting to see). Self-dealing is illegal. Again, if it was a Clinton, there would be a Republican committee already formed and investigating.

-- The current NSA director admitted that Russia was trying to meddle with our election. Putin applauded Trumps win. Assad applauded Trumps win. If you got those two happy about Trump's win, I would think people would be skeptical. Especially considering Trump has done nothing but praise Putin. Again, I admit my bias as being a veteran during the Cold War. I got real concerns about Trumps admiration of Putin.

-- Trump's hotel in D.C. It operates on a lease held by the GSA(a government contracting agency). Trump will be appointing a new head of the GSA -- a position that will be responsible for negotiating the lease with the Trump Organization annually.

-- Trump owes money to China. China's government bank has a US Headquarters in.. wait for it... Trump Tower.

-- There's a reason Trump has his transition team in Trump Tower and his golf course. The American taxpayer foots the bill for the transition up to 7 million dollars. So his properties are making money on this transition.

I realize no one who voted for Trump is going to hold him accountable and that this is falling on deaf ears so to speak. But this was the reason him releasing his tax returns was so important. If only people cared as much about what is in his tax returns as they did about what was in Hillary's email.

I plan to pay close attention to what Trump does about Obamacare. Why? Because Ivanka's husband Jared Kushner, who is on Trump's transition team, well Jared's brother Josh happens to run a two billion dollar healthcare startup called Oscar. Peter Theil, another member of Trump's transition team is an investor of Oscar as well. You might be expecting Obamacare to go away, but don't be surprised if it doesn't or if at least parts that benefit Oscar are kept around.

Some of us don't have blind faith in Trump, we want a change from our path to becoming a 4th World Country. Even if it means total meltdown. Don't really care what Trumps record is. He spoke to many of us by vocalizing most things we are concerned about. Even if he pushes the Nuclear Button we won't have any of those concerns any more. I worked in NORAD daily simulations NOBODY ever wins. Secrets Hillary shared with family and friends would have put me in jail for hundreds of years too.

If Trump's Tax Returns were totally FU it couldn't be any worse than the Lies the Dems tell every day. 24-7-365. And, most of what he did is likely legal as opposed to what Hillary did....

Whats the point of holding one party accountable and not the other? Why care about Hillary's record if you don't care about someone elses? Why care about the direction of the country if you're fine with it melting down?

Just because Trump wins doesn't mean he can't be steered by his constituency. People don't have to just hope for the best for him. They can provide feedback. He said back in the primaries he could shoot someone in the middle of a crowd and his supporters wouldn't blink an eye. Can they not let him know he doesn't get blind faith like that? That they will hold him accountable?

I don't think I will ever understand that perspective. Perhaps it isn't blind faith. Perhaps its just blind hatred for the other party? I dunno. I can't comprehend that perspective. Fair enough. I will shutup about Trump. I voted for Vader so really I got no room to talk anway.

Not so much of blind faith, but more like on a short leash to rein in if things get a bit off. He was, for me, the only choice to 1. change things from same old political script and 2. stop the same or possibly worse political script being foisted upon the American public.
IMO Clinton was totally off and not much would rein in her political machine.

Another thing, the American public to me has a somewhat feeling being at the mercy of the political rulers, while they muck about with their seemingly own set of rules and we are left to kowtow to ever increasing and restrictive governance. I can only hope that, but do not have much faith in, that President Trump can bring about enough change to effect the populace a active role in leaders decisions. Probably a pipe dream of mine but we have to start somewhere.

Now, I'm Pissed. I keep hearing Hillary should request a vote recount and some of the Electorates are trying to go against what their state voted and change their vote to Hillary. She conceded, IT'S OVER, the END. You can't change the results after it's over and I don't give a CRAP TO HEAR IT......

The hacking theory is unraveling and the focus is redirecting to our ballot system simply sucks. I personally think it should be standardized nationwide one way or another and don't see any reason why it shouldn't be audited on a per state basis. At the very least it would get people to stop crying about the results. Its too late for this election, however it should be able to be implemented before the next presidential election if work commences now.
