Dyno numbers with stock vboost, tboost and full open vboost can be seen at vmax.lvlhead.com.

In short, stock vboost is best for any configuration. With full open vboost or even tboost it's just over-carburation and you don't have to open the throttle as much to get the same stock acceleration. If you go WOT prior to 6000, you have a dip in torque curve.

I found that you had to open the throttle more with open vboost(stage 7)than with stock.I also felt that tboost was slowing me down out of the hole.I removed mine after a week. Now that my heads are ported and I have big cams, with a magura quick throttle, I am finding out that everytime I crank on it that my rear radial is breaking loose and smokin.Looks like it is time for a stickier compound.Shinko Stealth.I am starting to wonder if it wasn't slipping on the dyno.

where did you get the magura quick throttle? i have been thinking about replacing the 1/2 turn throttle with something like a 1/4 turn but i do not know where to find a replacement.

Mark,Besides hearing the extra rush of air,Needing to use more throttle was the first thing I noticed with stage 7.

Hey is that a pic of Bill Cower?

Mmm, been awhile since I had one of those. I was drinking Miller Lite...it was onsale.
