tons of vmax parts

I have a ton of vmax stuff that I got from a sick friend the bike has been apart for 15 years or so the parts I've got are

stamped Vmax side covers

aftermarket exhaust system

intake manifold on together and one in pieces

Valve covers

2 stators and pick ups

starter motor

aluminum side covers in nice shape

tail light

CDI box

wire harness I don't know if it's complete or not

ignition switch with a key

upper and lower engine case

2 sets of heads one head needs repairs

new Head gaskets or gasket I have to check


brake rotors

brake calipers with brake pads

tons of engine parts

some pistons

decent used cylinders

almost complete rebuilt engine my buddy told me it's about 90% complete but he can't remember what needs to be done to finish it.

2 service manuals one is on cd and the other is a book

Drive shaft

I have a few air filters they are all like new they don't even look used.



What I don't have

Seat, Forks,gas tank, Frame, wheels, rear shocks

I was told that it is an 1985 but he was buying cheap vmax's at one time and stripping them down for parts he had 5 at one time in pieces.

I also have electric water pumps brand new in the box.

The O.P. is not timeout43. The O.P. is Tk222, and he hasn't posted anything on here since June 2018, six and a half years ago.

Try contacting CaptainKyle at [email protected] or Sean Morley at [email protected] for a used CDI box. They often have used parts and Sean may have an aftermarket replacement Ignitech box which can be used to control your ignition, the VBoost, a NOS system, a quick-shifter, and more.

You need to know your year, 1985-1989 CDI boxes were 5-wires; 1990-2007 were 2-wires.

Note: see 5 wires in the above diagram at the alternator/pick-up coils.


Note: see the two wires at the Alternator/pick-up coil as the 1990-2007 have only one pick-up coil! The 1985-1989 bikes have two pick-up coils.
