Too late to get a cheap plane ticket. I need to come down to Tampa (Brandon actually) to check on my parents condo that's there. Not sure when we will get away to do that. Probably this summer at some point.

If there is anything I can do to help you with that let me know, I grew up in the Brandon area and my father lives in Valrico. Let me know if I can help in any way, Just PM me. "It would be no problem at all" By the way I haven't worried about my Max falling over one time since installing your shortened kick stand! LOL.

:biglaugh::biglaugh:One day left before the install! We should be able to get some good pics and video. Looks like there will be quite a few of us at this tech day. I will do my best to get everything posted up by Sunday night.:biglaugh::biglaugh:

Sean, If you do get down this way. Let us know so we can all meet up, somewhere convenient for you....

Bill, You won't get much sleep Saturday Night. You'll be waking up all night to the memories of how great your bike sounds... Trust Me.....:rofl_200:

"Hey if it's not to foggy Saturday night I could just ride the bike all night and watch the sun come up!". :rofl_200::rofl_200:

LOL, I'm sure we'll be down there this summer but not sure how long. Will let everyone know when.

Well the exhaust installation went off without a hitch yesterday at tech day,"I would like to thank everyone that came out,it was an outstanding day!"

Here is a quick summary of the exhaust purchase and installation.

1) I contacted Jon at UFO to get more information about the kit's he offered. I called the shop number and we talked about a half hour, half the conversation was about the kit's, the other half was just bike talk. "He also gave me another phone number to contact him at which I think is his cell phone number".

2) I ordered the Megaphone kit,and it shipped and arrived in a week's time. The kit's shipping weight was 27 lbs, so the bike also went on a serious diet when the stock exhaust came off.

3) The day after the kit arrived, I received a phone call from Jon wanting to be sure the kit made it here OK,and to see if I had any question's. Again we talked for a half hour or so just shooting the bull.

4) We removed the factory exhaust and center stand with the help of Captains Kyles bike lift, which made the installation much easier, Thanks Kyle!" Getting the factory exhaust off was a bitch,and was the worst part of the install. "It weighs a ton too by the way"

5) Instructions that came with the kit were good, The welds and mandrel bends look great,the system is coated inside and out and looks great.

6) This was the first time I've ever installed a full exhaust system and I have to say it fit's perfectly, No leaks and no clearance issue's of any kind.

7) As for the sound "Pissed off Big Block Chevy" is the only way to describe it. It's loud, I'm sure I can set off car alarm's with it, and it is exactly the sound level I was looking for.

8) I would have to rate this purchase A+, have lots of pictures from Tech Day of the install,and "SpecOps" was kind enough to shoot some video. I will try to get the pic's posted today.

9) If anyone would like some specific pictures let me know and I will post them.

Good looking set of pipes,sound is good, did the tech team have to adjust carb jetting ?

I had already played with the carbs, When I test rode the bike it pulls harder now than with the stock modified exhaust, Didn't find any flat spots or pops yet. My plan is to install 4 new plugs and test, and make changes as needed. "If it went rich it's not by much":biglaugh::biglaugh:

Nice. May have to order one of those..

You are NOT making my exhaust decisions any easier.....THANKS!!!!!:damn angry:

Looks good...........glad it went well............

Oh what to do......what to do.......

:bang head::bang head::bang head:

Is this some kind of cruel joke,"exhaust is installed,bike is running top notch,and it's going to rain all week,,,WTF?"
:bang head::bang head::bang head::bang head::bang head::bang head:

Might have to get the rain suit out!:confused2:
