His Vmax is new enough that it already has the newer segment. BUT, if the segment is coming loose this could be an issue.

I will defer judgement to the vmax king mr. Morley haha he is by far the most authoritative on the subject of vmaxes lol... now if he could give me some pointers on conquering the yz250 two smoker lol.. damn thing scares me to death haha

Yea, my YZ250 (before it was stolen) was a beast! We did a double overbore on it which just made matters worse lol.
