Two more newbie questions...

1.) Can the springs on the shocks be removed (without destroying them) so I can clean the shocks?

2.) I bought radiator side covers off eBay and they are not cracked or anything, they are missing the silver plate below the reflector on each cover. Is this a replaceable part? It looks like it might be by the parts breakdown but I can't tell for sure.

Not sure about the springs but the silver plate is just glued on so its gotta be possible to find a replacement

I cut a small piece of stainless steel & glued it on . looks better & you can polish it if need be.

Yamaha service them, LH (sitting on the bike) is 1FK-12535-00-00 and RH is 1FK-12537-00-00
