Does anyone have any info on what happened at the UFO auction?
I know Sean Morley bought Jons 8 second record setting VMax (which I'm sure Jon is turning in his grave over that one!) but who better to have it now than his rival and nemesis in business but both had a common love for the same machine we all know and love. And it's definetly one way to finally put to rest the question: how'd he get that bike to go so fast? So, I'm super curious to see what Sean finds and even though Jon let me sit on it at his shop and told me one tip: you gotta make a smaller hole to punch through to get higher speed which actually kinda follows the Martial arts philosophy to pin point the energy to achieve a maximum result. So, I kinda understand how he saw it although I'm not sure the physics work out but hey, I'm open minded. So, let's see what he finds out. The other bikes I'm curious who got were the all chrome Gen 2 and how much they all went for although we may never know. I'd really like to somehow find out what Jons prized bikes came down to be worth. I will say whoever got any of his stuff, I'm sure it was well maintained And know you got something that was built by top notch mechanics either Mike Lees or Jon Cornell and should be A1 for a very long time. Great Job to whoever got them and Congrats again to Sean.
