Upper master cylinder secrets

Alright, the upper clutch master cylinder. I bought all the new parts,cleaned it thoroughly and assembled it according to the manual. My question is how do you stop it from leaking where the lever goes in? I've assembled and disassembled it 5 times and each time I start to bleed it it starts weeping out of the lever hole. Is there some secret trick that I don't know about to prevent this?

Scored cyl wall. Try a small hone. If that doesn't work, it's time for a new one. I usually don't bother trying to rebuild them, I consider a new one cheap insurance it's going to work for years.

Do you have your cup-seals install in the correct direction?
