Hi i had an idea to be able to turn v-boost off, not 3000 just off incase it is raining. I could purchase a t-boost and it would acomplish this, but i think that if you just install a switch on the RPM lead to the vboost controller that it will not open as it does not receive the signal to(gray wire i believe). If anyone has tried this or it does not make sense let me know. I just want to be able to turn it off if caught in the rain or on long highway trips.

Makes sense to me. I believe you could do that.

If I was going to do this I would cut the power to the V-Boost servo motor rather then the signal wire.

I don't think it makes a difference - you could cut the coil signal wire, the power to the boost motor, the power feed to the boost relay - anything that stops the boost valve from operating will do the job fine.

I'd say cutting the signal wire would be my preferred route..

If it's raining, do you plan on running it up above 6k RPM anyway?

Even without V-Boost the Max has too much power above 6k for the rain IMO.

If I'm in the rain, no way I'm up at 6k.
