I pulled valve covers to check valves and at TDC #1 cylinder the cam lobes aren't facing away from each other like they are supposed to. What does this mean? Already jumped time?

Have you tried the other TDC?

Exactly. The TDC happens twice in the full combustion event so you may need to rotate 360 and check again.
