New owner and new to the forum!! I hope someone can shed a little light on my problem. I was riding the bike yesterday and ran like a beast... Today......I noticed riding home from work that it didn't feel like the vboost was kicking in. It idles fine and runs fine, but no VBOOST....Upon start up I can hear the servo operating as it should. Also, last night I painted the four chrome covers under the shrouds...I pulled them off and made sure the springs were working correctly and that I put them back on correctly..started it up and still no workie! I am pissed. Hopefully it was something that I did and can learn from my mistakes. If it is something major I am not sure that I can fix it. Any help can and will be appreciated!!!!!

Just so happens I got a message from my mechanic tonight who fixed my vboost that was not working, he stated he I had corrosion on the solenoid that opens the flaps, he had to clean it and now it works fine, not sure what solenoid he is speaking of but im sure someone else here will know

Couple of pictures from what I found with my vboost last week. I could hear motor cycling the way it should, but no whoop ass when I hit 6k rpm.

Found out that when I installed vboost on my Venture, I put the metal doohickey in that attaches motor cable to butterfly cable in backwards. The pull of the servo motor bent the doohickey and the cable popped out of it.

Self inflicted damage, for sure.
