2WE is a 1988 USA bike, VMX12-U series. Is there a Canada sticker on the steering head above the VIN label?
Where is this bike, now? Please consider two things:
1] for your signature, accessible clicking on your screen name, upper right-hand side, add your bike year.
2] add your location below your screen name. Another member may be close to you, and for the rest of us, it helps when dispensing advice.
This will be of-use to you, I suggest a thorough read, to familiarize yourself with the layout. Note in the front, you have several Supplements which cover different changes and the latest service info as-of that time. Your model is the "U" as-in VMX12-U.
