Vmax discontinued?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to buy a Vmax in the near future but I heard its getting discontinued. Is it a good idea to still purchase one? If its discontinued won't finding spare parts and maintenance become difficult?

They will continue, or they should continue to produce parts for it up to 10 years after the last production year, that's OEM parts. Plenty of 85 maxes still out there going strong.

The gen 1 was in production for 24 years, gen 2 for 11 and I'll bet there is significantly more gen 1 about some of which get broken for spares, than gen 2.

It would not put me off buying gen 2 because it had been discontinued.
