Water Pump Housing Question

Hello,

Disassembled the water pump on my 94 Vmax for a rebuild and have a concern.

The middle piece that aligns the pumps shaft is not straight, is this a replaceable part?

I can not locate anywhere in a service manual or parts manual.

That's the first time I've seen that. I have only done about 3 rebuilds but that is a first for me. I am not sure what it would take to replace the shaft.

Isn't that part of the seal?

That is part of the mechanical seal that you replace when you get part number 8
