Waterpump, oil seal

..I can't remember how the oil seal was installed (it's been along time since teardown and I don't know if I can even trust the way it was installed)..!

Does anyone remember which way it goes?.. It's hard to tell from the Microfiche..

the 2 pics are from the engine side or gear side of the pump...

I think the old one was installed like figure B

It better be "B" else I have put mine in the wrong way! seal will "work" this way.......

"B" couse spring from oil seal will rust from water.
