I dont think so.

What size hose do you have going from the oil fill cap to the airbox? I have seans kit, and so have a similar set up. Instead of still using the flimsy PCV hose, I replaced everything with 1/2 inch fuel line (I think). Its stiff enough that when you take the airbox off, it will stay in place......so putting the airbox back on is a snap. Remove the reservoir, and the hose is right there, make certain that it matches up to the nipple on the bottom of the airbox, and push the airbox back in place. Make is SO much easier......especially if your pulling the airbox multiple times for tuning....etc.

I believe it's either 3/8" or 1/2" braided SS hose, I'm leaning towards the 3/8". I have it tee'd into the factory hose with a short piece of stock hose to the air box. The SS hose is ziptied to a frame cross member so I can push the air box down onto the short hose. Most of the time I don't even put the clip back on but when I'm at thunder or other times when I'm doing the hooligan thing I get oil drips.
We can't have drips now can we! :biglaugh:

Went out back and admired the new shocks, then went online and renewed the insurance and plates on both bikes. Spring's a coming!

Weather was bood enough so took Brutus to work.. All going swimmingly until it died on me going round a roundabout.

Fuel light came on at 89miles range... And like a complete muppet i didnt switch to reserve so it coughed and spluttered to a stop. Took a spot of patience to get it going but it did eventually.

Now hitting the forum to suss out how to improve on that range!

Glad you didnt get tangled up on the roundabout. Other than jetting and tuning there are aux tank options that look pretty good. I'm also at some point going to switch to Venture gears to enjoy better range on the highway.

Handy Lift w/side extensions! Works great. Waiting a long time to find one in reasonable shape & $.

Nada... But just ordered an air rifle so I can start shooting squirrels from the porch without bothering the neighbors. If I can't ride I have to find other ways to entertain myself :punk:

Testing the weight-beariing limits of my new Handy Air Lift Model 2031. I bought this bike and the VMAX within a year of each other, the bicycle cost about 1/2 of what the VMAX did from Ft. Lauderdale Honda Yamaha. In keeping with the new POTUS, I bought American, hand-made in WA state. Nowadays they would probably refer to it as an "artisan-built bicycle."

Past couple of nights here I finally got around to pulling my motor and splitting the case for open gear surgery. Problem, jumpy third gear. Cure, undercutting, lets hope anyway. The mod monkey is bouncing off the walls in here....:th_butt:

I changed the UFO Quadzilla exhaust system out for one from Mark's Performance Products. I'm not going to say it was easy but it wasn't too bad. Then of course I went out for a ride! The UFO stuff will be for sale. I'll try to get some pictures posted up in the classifieds soon.

Took the rear wheel off and will get the front wheel off tomorrow. Don't want to have all the fun in one night. Got my new Shinkos in yesterday. Will take them to Capt. Kyle for mounting ASAP.

If you save your pictures to your desktop or wherever you choose you can open them using MS photo gallery (Windows) and rotate them so they are properly oriented. Then once you exit it will be properly oriented and your forum mates will not have to crank their necks to see the photo properly.
Oh and btw that there is a purty color! :biglaugh:
