Just been doing lots of cleaning and a little painting on the 1300. I painted the swingarm black ,lower fork legs ,rotors, calipers. I am still going to paint the master cylinders and a little touch up on the engine and gonna call it done. It will be back on the market after that.

"gen2 hayabusa wheel 85" vmax hub."

tinman22, where did you find an eighty-five inch VMax wheel? 🤔

Thats just the hub! The wheel was 167"x72" Far better tire selection than that 17" stuff everybody else uses.

Gearing is a bit tricky.E8F3CD21-9F2A-4B20-955A-7EC33BECF61B.jpeg

Hey all, new here. Recently picked up a 2009 gen 2. Put some bar end mirrors on it the other days after a full tune up.

Congratulations on your ride.

Add your location below your screen name so you can get some local riders, and perhaps assistance should you need it.

That looks freaking cool! What did you use as for the donor bike?
I took the neck and frame spine from a 2006 honda shadow spirit, The front end and rear section is NOS never installed for a 2004 Yamaha R6 I picked up at an auction. The headlight and front cowl assembly is from a Buell XB 1125r.All the blinkers , running lights and brake lights i custom made. I originally was going to put a motor from a severely neglected 2003 Buell XB9r but I fell in love with that bike and did a complete restoration of it so I had to find another motor. I eventually found a motor that was brand new and crated at yet another auction that was liquidating a motorcycle shop that went out of business here in Vegas. The funny thing is that it was for a honda shadow 750 spirit, littleral the same bike i used the brame basics from. So it is powered by a honda 750 vtwin. I only used the neck so I could register it easily without going through the headache of getting a custom VIN so its registered as a honda shadow and because it was not a salvaged bike it didn't need a inspection. I pushed all the powere I could from the motor and because the entire bike is only around 300 pounds it is definitely the fastest honda shadow on the block hahaha. It is a blast do drive. I don't think I have ever taken it out and somebody didn't try to convince me to sell it to them.
If anyone would like to see more detailed photos let me know I would be happy to post some.

Looks great! Nice looking bike!

Koos has one of the best-looking bikes I've seen here lately. Care to say how-much the WP front end was?

The original battery went south on me this week so I ordered a Shorai. Arrived today and I threw it in and you can really feel those extra CA's. It even seems to be running better all around.

Just getting around to posting. This weekend I upgraded my battery to an odyssey pc680, replaced the starter clutch (which was bad since I bought bike last fall from po) and Changed out the stator and put on new to me supper trapps which all 3 I purchased from CaptainKyle. He was a pleasure to purchase from and any help and information I needed he was quick to respond. I definitely will purchase more parts and what not from him. Thanks CaptainKyle. If it wasn't for this man my bike wouldn't be running as good as it has been this weekend. The best since I purchased. Now my ol lady says its to loud cause it rumbles the windows 😁. Now on to the next phase of getting this beast in order. Lol.

I like the looks of the Bolt, it looks to be all-of a piece, not a mish-mash of parts, and a warranty to-boot. Enjoy it. I assume that's her bike to ride while yours is the VMax? How-long has she been riding? has she done the MSF courses? I see they have one now, 'Mastering the Ride.' It's probably similar to the older 'Experienced Rider Course.'
