We got out on the road yesterday, is what we did. And it was a total blast. Christian (Vmaxximum) and I have this thing we do. One of us holds up the number of fingers for the gear we both shift down into, then we mash the throttle for a roll on. Great fun, and it gives me an idea on the running condition of my old engine. Two Gen 1's pedal to the metal. The most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Thank You DannyMax for a Job well done! Just installed the rebuilt carbs and it's purring like an early Mopar with a heavy Cam. Should have done this a long while back. Now I know it'll keep up with or Fly by my car. Still need to Sync them, but sounds good as is......:) :) :)

Took time to get the time to work on him but engine is finally out. Seeing a Barnett clutch in there was a surprise.

how much do people charge for carbs rebuilt? I hate the job, but if money is good enough...

please shoot video and post on youtube or I will post it on my channel if you want. I would like to see transmission repair. Is that what you are going to do?

I used to charge a couple of hundred plus parts. More if they wanted me to test/tune the completed carbs on my bike.

I probably can do a little bit; not much to it besides inspection to see if anything wrong and then remove it and ship to Sean to back cut and replace any broken bits. I'll see what I can do though.

Now that DannyMax has straightened out my Carb problem, I need to go back in and see why the Starter Clutch I replaced didn't stop the cladder. Any ideas on what to look for when I get into it...? Cladders very little when warmed up, but does make the noise. Got a good Battery and turns over good, other than the racket it makes.
Thanks
Phil

Trying to get this 85 finished up so I can put a tire on my wing real quick and then move onto another customer's bike. I fell and hurt my knee on Monday so not moving real fast. Always something !

Got a question for you guys. Would any of you know where I could get OEM type Decals for any of the older bikes? Right now I'm looking for some to put on the 85' V65 Magna? Is there someone out there that does recreations of Older OEM Decals?

Disregard this thread. Found what I needed. Thanks anyway......:)
