The lights off of Amazon, very bright and aluminum bodies. The front adapter plates off of ebay. Also aluminum.

Still pecking away at these things . I started pulling the motor out of the one with a busted case and putting fork seals in another. I think my poor Goldwing is lonely in here.

Ouch! just looking at that broken case hurts.
Was that a stock motor, any clue how it broke?

How did your collection get a bit out of hand? lol How did that case explode like that? Bad downshift, or oil starve, massive over-power??

Yep all stock not sure what happened but I would have to guess there was some abuse involved

A few of them are customers bikes & some are one's I buy to fix & resell or part out . Not sure about the case he said it came part at about 65mph and made for a wild stop

Ordered a tidy tail for my 2012 and it came already. I wasn’t aware Sean sold these and bought it elsewhere hindsight I would have gotten it from him. The thing is and there is a thing, now I obviously have to upgrade my signals. Another member posted the ones he ordered and I may go with them they looked really good. The bracket they sent is actually pretty good, I like it. Not sure if it fits but looks good

Uncovered my vmax today.
Put the current registration sticker on. Then turned on the key.letting the fuel pump cycle. Filling the bowls with fuel. Then applied the choke lever. Now here's the good part.

I pressed the starter button. And with out any hesitation. The max roared to life. No sputtering or popping. I let it warm up for about 10 minutes. Checked tire pressure. And took it out for its spring. Shake rattle and roll test ride. After a couple burn outs. ( waking up rear tire)
I went for a short 20 mile ride.But man I missed the sound of the kerker( comp. Baffle)
So I went for another 20 miles.
It's chilly 46 degrees. Bit once again. It's a nice day to own a vmax.

Looks like the same one I ordered. Fit perfectly. Had new bolts and spacers.

I’m about to go ride it! Waiting on a couple more pieces parts to arrive and I’ll be able to do the air box mod, AIS plugs, install new gurued ecu and rip this bad boy around. I’ll actually ride it like a scared little girl until I get used to it but I sounded all that for a minute, lol. I’m assuming having full throttle in 1st gear is going to feel a bit different than now. I’m looking forward to the outcome.

So I’m in the last step of getting my air box out and the one screw on the middle of the top of the box will not break free From the apparatus that holds the velocity stacks. It’s spinning the cylinder and I’m not trying to break it, any ideas?
