What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

My tuner guru installed a power commander for fine tuning and now bike making 200hp at wheel and 135ft/lbs torque.. I now have the problem of the clutch slipping with the extra ponies and torque... Double d clutch kit ordered so hopefully this will fix the issue when fitted....

Ok, next chance I get I’ll make a video. I think it sounds pretty good, it is a little loud at higher rpm’s but I usually don’t stay at the blurry speeds to much in my old age.

Today I had an opportunity too take it for a ride since doing the DD clutch mod yesterday, of course I stalled it and looked like I’ve never ridden a motorcycle on my second stop sign. I think the lever feels better, but I have to get used to letting it out. Shifts nice from 1st to 2nd compared to before.

I also installed the DD clutch mod on my gurued '09 a couple thousand miles ago and although I can still get it to slip in lower gears if I'm wide-open it's absolutely better than it was before the mod. Took some time adjusting to the new lever feel but you'll get the hang of it in no time...!

To day I installed a set of cops on my Gen1 . Only thing I had to adjust was tick over screw . Will try it out shortly

Got the Krator Cramp Buster from an eBay vendor 11 bucks doesn't come close to fitting. I imagine a refund will be prompt as I have not given my vendor a rating yet. Too bad really nice looking. I also got a cewl Bag for the Sissy Bar.

Today is my birthday and I was asked what I wanted so I asked for a phone mount for the Gen 2 and I’m happy to say my son got it for me. So that present did not take long to open, installed it and I’m pretty impressed with the mount it definitely feels secure. So now I can ride my bike and text while wearing shorts and flip flops. Actually it’s more to keep it out of my back pocket and if I need directions to somewhere.

Happy birthday vmax brother. I like that you have a singular key in your max. In all my motorcycling years I never understood people who have gobs of keys on there key ring scratching the whole dashboard.

Well today I almost dropped my Vmax! Pulled into a gas station and was backing up my bike and backed it into a sewer drain, never saw it, definitely caught me by surprise. It started to go to the side and I had to use quite the effort to prevent it from falling. Then when I got the bike straightened out it to a few tries to get out of the ditch. All I know is I like the adrenaline rush this bike gives me usually, but not that one.
