A good price on an AR platform! You crack me up. Have you seen the prices lately? Everything is double and more. You are about three or four weeks too late brother. There is always a deal out there though. Somebody will be desperate to unload or unaware of current prices.

Love that Blue, My Hawk is Red, but my CB1 is Blue.

I got a new Belstaff Riding Jacket and also a New Set of Motocross boots

Thanks man. It was all done via rattle can with spraymax 2k clear. 3h of buffing and wet sanding alone on the tank. Its glass

Total surprise from my wonderful Wife and Daughters.

All I have now is the picture and an IOU, should be her in a few days..

Also got a pair of my favorite Bates Tactical Boots for Riding-Working, the ones with the side zipper like the Cops and EMT's wear

sorry, double-post!

The cover looks nice, enjoy! The Bates boots I have never worn, but I am familiar w/'what the cops & EMT's wear.' A lot of guys used those zipper adapters which fit in-place of laces, they look dorky, but they do allow you to use whatever boot you want. I wouldn't be surprised to find someone made them in velcro too. I don't think that's such a good idea for biking (velcro), as I saw a lot of people in bike accidents who lost their footwear as they tumbled across the pavement for many feet. Then there was the jaywalking female who got hit dead-center of the grille & was knocked-out of her wig and shoes, like some ghastly Road-Runner cartoon, except this one had two differences; while the wig and shoes remained behind at roughly the point of impact, her lifeless body was thrown well-down the road. No resurrection for her, at-least, not-yet.

I got a BILT cover recently for my VMax, I am very happy w/the materials & fit, it normally sells for ~$100 but they had it on-sale, 1/2 price for about $50 around Thanksgiving. It's every bit the equal of my mid-line Dowco cover I use for my sportbike.

I will, it probably is going to be too big but ill never tell my wife that.

I wouldn't either.

BTW - I did get a beautiful generic cover from my daughter, it fits, sort of, but as far as she is concerned it's perfect!

I did get a leather bag set from my wife also.

These are the Bates. They're foriegn made but have had really good wear out of them. Tennis shoe comfort and boot like protection. Zipper on the side comes in super handy.

Yes, those are the Vietnam-era copies, updated. Very good functionally. Your feet thank-you!:biglaugh:

Nice Dave! I bet it'd be fun to hang out at the range with you!:biglaugh:
I am looking to pickup something in a AR platform/ .223 caliber. Any recomedations on a setup and where my best deals will be at?

There are no more good prices on AR-15's. A Colt has gone from $1,000 up to $3500-$4000
currently. Ammo's going for $1,500.00 a thousand around here. I could help some but you live
too far away for that. High Cap Mags are around $100.00 each locally. Glad I had a stock of
everything I will need for the foreseeable future.

I got my X-Mas presents a few weeks ago:
New to me (used) Scoops, a Bridgestone Exedra Max Rear Tire and eveything I need for my Spring Tune-up.

I got a Horton CS225. I am a little concerned because it has a black plastic collapsible stock and a scope... it may be considered....(shh... tactical...)

Good fun... and a Browning Buckmark, Woohoo!

Kos I'm typing on my black coal tablet that I got for Xmas.:rofl_200: my wife does love me she said I got a tablet so I can keep her company on the coach instead of on the computer in the den. All the time.

Kos i also got this cool vmax clutch cover that i feel Todd did a great job on. :biglaugh:

I got a foot of snow. It slid off my roof and collapsed the shed I was keeping my max in. I woke up, looked out the window and said to myself, "Wow, I didn't know Mrs Johnson took showers with curtains open". Then I said, "Wait a minute, I shouldn't even be able to see Mrs Johnson's house from this window!!"

Got an Iphone 5,about $300 in gift certificates for gun ammo, $50 in dunkin donuts g certificates, new carhart jacket, new pair of red wings and possibly a new super red hawk .454 casull. Still workin on the wife for that one :biglaugh:........no complaints here

Recently I bought the iPhone 5, billet parts from COO, and some custom parts from Sean.
Since my AR15 plan is now too expensive I'll probably get my 30.06 a new 3x9, and maybe another .45 since I'm stocked up with .45 rounds for my Spingfield 1911.
But to echo Prez's comment, I get "gifts" all year long. Being single has it's perks at times!:eusa_dance:
