Hello all,
I have decided to sell my bike, but am not sure how much it is worth. I am thinking about asking for $2500. It is an '85 with 26,000 miles, and is stock, well I have the stock parts that I can put back on (brakes, SS lines, rotors, etc.).
Is $2500 a good asking price, or should I go higher, or lower?

Thanks,
Parker

Oh, before I forget, last four of vin are 0482, not sure what that means.

Well 2500 will get it to sell quicker. Its probably worth 2500 to 3500. You might get 4000 out of it, but you would have to wait longer.

The lower # vins have a "perceived" higher value. Do you have pics?

That means you have the 381st one made. Same engine numbers?

Here are some pics.

Not a bad looking bike.....I would raise the price a bit.....and see if you get any bites, you can always lower it back to 2500. So I would do 3000 and see what happens. It should sell pretty easily at that price. Youve taken care of 1 major downside of the early Vmax....and thats the brakes.

I'd love to have that bike. The price is very reasonable. I think you could get $3500 from the right buyer. I always wanted an 85 unmolested. I bought one but couldn't salvage the engine.
