Now, just need to verify the rest of the setup and at some point you may want to open up the carbs and set/adjust the float's if needed (can be checked with a "wet" level test as found on this forum).

Sean

Setup
Stock needles no shims
A/f mixture 2 1/2 turns out
Main jets 152.5
Jets under air box 100... the 90's are on order
Jets under diaphragm 170
Marks 4 into 2 pipes
K&N drop in replacement filter
Bike has the 3000-6000 rpm switch I leave it on the stock setting?
Anything else as far as set-up you need Sean??

Exact same set up as mine but I'm starting at 2 3/4 turns out on a/f screws.

Ian, I've got the Yamaha wet float level gauge if you want to use it. It's just some clear hose with a plastic barrel and graduated lines on it.

Probably could benefit from 150 mains. Other then that it should get decent mileage. Check the wet float level settings too.

Is going to 150 mains make the bike leaner or richer? Got 150's on order with the 90's also.. Just in case...and randy ill have to probably have you help me on that never done that before... You don't happen to have a carb sync gauge do ya?

gojng from 152.5 to 150s will lean out because they are fuel jets for sure and i believe
putting 90s in instead of 100s will richen because they are air, but not quite sure

65 Fury has a carbtune. I'VE got an old mercury carbstick with no restricters. Jason bought his carbtune after trying to use my carbstick. Jason did my last sync in about 5 min.

+1 carbtune. first thing i bought. search the forum and you will find or that it is the preferred synch tool

ninjaneer you don't happen to have a link on the carbtune? Is it the carb sync tool that has blue liquid in it?
