I've had 2 different Vmax owners tell me that they have never seen this before. Can anyone identify this?

I've had 2 different Vmax owners tell me that they've never seen this before. It's on the #2 carb. Looks like a vacuum port with a cap on it. I hope someone can identify this for me. Thanks!

Darn, I was hoping for a bit of a challenge when I read the title.

LoL, it won't be pertaining to the Vmax if you need a challenge. I'll have an Excelsior Henderson question shortly...

That is a fitting that was for the "california" carbs. Apparently ALL of the later model carbs have this port....its just blocked. Its for emissions.

You were pretty quick with that answer Eric, but if everyone would read more closely, I think we can all agree that Shane beat you to it by answering his own question in his second post #2. Eric, you do still be the usual Brownie merits for expanding further on it's actual purpose for being there. :biglaugh:
